Hey everyone, hope you had a great opener! Im looking at goin up to pool 4 tuesday afternoon, but my brother was up there last weekend and the bite was very slow due to murky water from all the rain.. has anyone been p there since and had luck?
I ask the same question on Thursday. Someone responded with “go check a different website”. We spent last night trolling around Maiden Rock and pitching the head of the lake. we caught a few and had a good time.
I was there this afternoon for 3-4 hours.
I didnt fish but I can tell you for sure the water is high,murky and flow is clipping right along.
That was right at Everts Resort out front, I would find slack water areas and give it a go though.
I didnt see any BIG debris but saw a fair share of smaller floaters coming down, but USE CAUTION you NEVER know whats right under the surface.
Good luck if you go and I would think by Tuesday the flow will decrease as well as the level.I did hear the level is dropping.
I fished river to head of lake Thursday with not a fish. Friday and Saturday fished lake in 13-16 fow and 18-20fow with #7 shad raps on lead, caught all the saugers you wanted! Good Luck

why tuesday??
we did ok on south end of lake on firetiger. Didn’t have ay meat along, but minnow and SlowDeath crawlers were reputed to be working well, by fellow IDOers…
I was up there yesterday. We caught a few saugers, sheephead, and 1 really nice walleye 31″ 11.5 lbs. Using lindy rig tipped with night crawler in 5 FOT. We was at 2nd creek drifting over the sand bars. Very nice day yesterday with a wonderful walleye chop. The water is coming down and the clairity is getting better also.
