Hey guys sounds like you have a great presentation planned. I’d really like to attend but probably couldn’t make it till 8:00 on account of work. Are late comers still welcome? Hope I wouldn’t miss too much by being late. Does the speaking usually start right at 7:00?

    Thanks!

The Monday 3/18 Walleye Searchers seminar starts right at 7 PM Elk’s Lodge Rochester, MN — being fishermen we are a punctual bunch of guys. Plan to stay until about 10 PM and if you’re a fishing nut you may not want to leave then. For those of you that can come early, check out the products on display by your fellow fishermen.

We are also raffling off around $800 of fishing related items in 5 separate raffles – a half day guide trip with James, a half day guide trip with Chris, 2 custom made high quality rods made by a top local rod builder, plus a 3 day trip to Big Lake Wilderness Lodge in Ely, MN. These raffles are the only means our non-profit club has to pay for the seminar. Although much of the seminar is done from donations and volunteers, there is still a cost to putting it on. If we break even, we are happy.

The main purpose of this seminar is to get new members to join the club. We will also have a special deal going for a one year membership at only $20. For those few coins you get the chance to win a few of the 58 plaques given out for our club tournaments, eat some “fine food” after some tournaments, plus a bunch of other great things – see our website at http://www.walleyesearchers.com/ for more information.

But the most important thing at the seminar is to learn from our fine speakers, make some friends and just have a good time!

If you late comers buy the beer, James and I will talk backwards, and you can hear what you missed…

Me and James? You got the “Unusual” part right anyway!

We plan on having a blast! The guys and gal(s) down there are the best! Just get there when you can. We always take questions during and at the end. Come on! What else do you have to do on a Monday night????
