I have been doing a lot of reading over the last month or 2 seeing lots of big fish and days with lots of fish. Everytime I planned on coming down prior there always was something keeping me off the water.

I have not seen to many P4 reports in the last few days. And wondering if anyone had any clues to the current patterns?

Are many of the fish spawned out already and in post spawn areas or is a bit early yet?

I was thinking of trying Hay Creek and dragging up by the new riprap by the dam. If anyone would have any advise it would be great we’ll be on the water by 9:30 tommarrow till about 3 or so.

And I’d like to put some fish in the boat!

Any posts would be really appreciated!

I will be sure to take some pix and post a report of what our out come is.

Travis, I will be down about the same time tomorrow. My plan is to pull stickbaits in a few of those same areas. Say hey if you see us and I’ll let you know if we have anything going. 3 guys in a charcoal and blue skeeter.

Thanks RR! We bought minnows and crawlers and my favorite presentation is to use a debeuqe rig. 1/4 to 3/8 jig head with plastic as the drop line and minnow or crawler tipped floater. We’ll see if we find fish and share too. I drive a white and blue stratus.

As for you tournament guys i am looking for eaters and some action I really don’t care to spend my day hunting for some monster just looking to have an enjoyable day, with a bit more catching than fishing.

On a side note if I put the smack down on a dozen fish 10 lbs or more you tourney guys could share your tourney winnings with me for my info. HaHa!
