Nice fish. How long did it take you to reel in that 23 footer? . Looks like it was very nice weather wise.

it was nice out, much better with the wind not blowing up river with force. like the last few days. be a good night to stay out all night. went to net my brothers 23″ and when i went to scoop the net bent instead. have to give my buddy some crap. its not a big fish net by any means but it works if you leave them in water.(like you should) instead of scooping out of water and hoisting into boat with wimpy net. to top it off my bunk broke on the way down to everts. bracket snapped at joint. should be a quick fix.

Nice fish!! I stumbled across a 27 7/8 amongst a group of saugers during midday. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut, I guess. Wish I could have stayed til / after dark. My non-camera trained Vizsla’s didn’t like that idea though.
