WALLEYES AND FRONTS ON P4?

Wondering how this front that is coming in on Monday/Tuesday after the hot day forecasted for Sunday will effect the Walleyes on P4.

Do they get effected on the river as much as they do on lakes with cold fronts.

Heading to P4 on Sunday afternoon and fishing thru Tuesday early afternoon.

Wondering if tactics need to change?

    Any advise?

Moving water tends to be more forgiving than closed systems such as lakes or retention reservoirs. I don’t pay much attention to fronts when my plans are to be on the river.

Ur tactics will stay the same but the location of the fish might change a bit so don’t be afraid to move from ur comfort zone and look for other seams, eddy’s, or current breaks.

I agree with what Tom and Ben said,
I’d also throw in the thought that the walleyes and saugers are starting to spawn and that in itself might be the most negative factor than weather in getting more bites.
    good luck

I still had plenty of big hard bellies last night, so I think some of them are still holding out
