Hey everyone, I am bringing a couple guys down to P4 on thursday for a day trip. They want to catch some white bass and walleyes/saugers. I have not been down for a week or so and am looking for some info to give them a good trip. Any info would be great and thank you in advance.

Saying “You know the secret spots” is an admission of taking on Sgt. Schultz’s saying “I know nothing!”

We caught white bass above the daymarker on the lock side…swirling the surface, they were.

Moving off of that shoreline brought a few saugers in that upper teen depth.

A few other boats were catching fish there too. Might be an easy area to try for both species in the same spot.

Just my two cents and giving up my secret spot Just kidding…there are few, if any secrets spots.

I just move a little and pitch, move a little and pitch…and it’s all good!

Sunday they were more common than saugs and eyes above the north most wingdam, up to the backflow, on the west side of the river by the dam. Dabuqe rigs were the ticket! Jig for the sauger and eyes, hook and minnow worked for the whities
