My cousin and I got out last Saturday 03/24 and man did we smack em’!!! At least an 80 fish day all together, from Pikes to Smallies and Largies and White bass to Walleyes, even a trout. Mostly white bass.
My cousin had the “hotter” hand that day. First a PB 29 inch walleye then a PB 20 inch brown trout. And the largest fish for me that day was this pike. Over all a GREAT day to be out on the water. Minus the sunburn

NICE! thanks for sharing, don’ see too many trout out of the mighty mississippi, but I love it when people post them.

I was pretty suprised because we caught the trout mixed in with some white bass and large mouths behind a wingdam. Same with the walleye. The 3 fish in the pic’s are alive and still swimming. Cant say that about some of those white bass

Looking like you had a good time!

Many people have fished for many years without catching a trout on P4. It happens every year to a lucky few.

Catching a trout in Pool 4 is pretty cool! Sounds like a good time.

Nice work! That looks to be the first post spawner that I’ve seen or heard of…..

We also caught a post spawn walleye. Plus a few 20-22 inch males that where milking heavily. Very nice day guys you did better than I.

Thanks guys, it was a great day indeed. I was pretty surprised that the trout absolutely hammered a crankbait. 99% of our fish came off of a crank bait. We tried matching those shads in baypoint’s bay and it worked!!
