Knowing that Pool 4 would be crowded my FIL and I made a trip down river.

It was a testing day for me to began with ,I just got my Mercury fine tuned, tested newly built split grip MLXF rod and tried out the new 3.25″ Pulse-R Paddle Tail.

We were only out for a few hours before then wind said it was time to go.

I was casting and slowly dragging back a Purple/Chart Tail with a 5/16 oz black jig for the most part, the current was really swift, but it all come together for us in short order ,boating 7 fish total in the short time out,2 being a FAT 21″r and 20.25″r.

I did bring the FW and kids home 3 15.5″ cookies cutters for supper.

All test proven to be worthy I cant wait till the next outting
