Extreme wind gave way to a few eaters and 1- 26″ fish! One pic is a 22″ or 23″ from fri morning trip. Yesterday was tough. we ended up with 7 eaters, a few shorts, and many short bites and 2 decent fish lost part way in. they were very fussy! I talked to 3 tournament team boats which had 3 fish combined. 2 boats are very good sticks! Just so darn windy, tough boat control. The fish are still around tho, no dowt!!! We were dragging plastics yesterday also, only difference was we went to heavier jigs.

Havent been out muvh the last week and a half. Trying to get my work done to take a few days off this week for tournament on sat 3/17. Another reason I hesitated on posts. Again…. Oh well!!! Just really wanna help and share info if it helps people, anyone. POOL 5 has long been kept secret. Not that 5 is great, just say??? overlooked maybe?? If you know what I mean?? 2 weeks ago one morning my good friend was joking around how we always would hide big fish, take pic in wiggle waggle before release. Not now, those on the water see and people see where we at in pics.Anyhow, For those of you whom Ive gotten the pleasure to meet and talk to face to face I wanna say Thank you for stopping. Very very greatfull for that. Oh, people keep asking about Cranks, a lot of people keep asking. We had several fish grab em two days ago, just wouldnt quit wack it! Seen a few caught, nothin too good yet. IDK? Prooly Soon?? My notes show 38 deg as kind of the turn on temp. was 35 yest….. (: Good fishin guys!
