    Great to see all the boats out today, had to be close to a hundred, caught a few saugers/walleyes here and there, even caught several nice smallies, the weather was great, didn’t really stay for the night bite, my friend had his 6 year old in the boat, she’s really good in the boat but night fishing isn’t for a young kid, took a photo of one we released today, firecracker ringers worked again for our boat!

    Yeah great weekend, fun the have young people in the boat, sunday fishing was alright picked up a few here and there along with boating a couple chubby smallies, heading out in a couple hours for the evening bite!

    We saw one youngster that we thought should have been in school fishing at Alma today, but then the idea of him maybe being home schooled came along. Sure was one sweetheart of a day on the water.

    Lots of schools on Spring Break right now. My son and some of his friends are next week.

    I used to always have eye problems on school days when the weather got nice…sometimes I couldn’t see at all, see myself going to school and not fishing anyway

    I wasn’t going to say anything Son but I remember making a few of those calls. Chris won’t be at school today-he is having eye problems–he can’t see being in school when the fish are biting Those were the good old days—oh wait—I had to drive the boat and run the troller—maybe today is the good old days

    I remember fishing machine making a couple of those calls. But it was so she and I could go duck hunting.

    There were plenty of those calls too Herb. The boy and I spend every MEA(Fall break) in North Dakota duck hunting for 8 or 9 years in a row. We always had to tack on an extra day or two on one end or the other of our trip. It is good to see that I am in good company if your Mom did it then it is alright with me Tell Mary Redneck says Hi!!!
