I have the itch to get the boat out and fish on Sat. for some walleyes or saugers.The only thing is I have no idea where to start for walleyes or sauger. If anybody would be so kind as to give me a few tips for places to start and what depths to target. I would be very greatful! Also where is a good public access to use.

The community spot down there right now is the confluence of the MN and Miss. Lily dale, hidden falls of Fort Snelling State park all have landings near buy. Pretty simple spot to fish. Vertical jig minnows or plastics down the center of the river. Dont be afraid to get away from the main crowd there. You can catch fish all the way do to the bridge and even below.
