pool 5, 3/1/12 Finally drug my dad out this morn. no big gals, but a very action filled 1/2 day of fishing!!!! we kept enuf fish for him to bring home. Believe we caught around 20. We released 5 fish today. The two biggest were 27.25/7lbs 5 oz and a 5.0lb fish. Also a few between 21-23. Same program, different colors, all ringworms tho! Only four rigs at the landing at the moment……If you do make it to Alma be careful, there is some gin clear ice. Not alot, not anything that bothered the fishing but some chunks are thick!!!! Good fishing!

Darn it i wished i lived a bit closer to that area this time of year. BTW, is the Great Alma Fishing Float still up and running? Made a few trips to the float as a youngster…

I never saw this one on here either! That one on the left was a nice fish! They look like all walleyes as well, awesome! I can’t wait to get back off the road from behind the wheel of my semi to get my boat down there in alma! Nice work! I will stop in an introduce myself some day. Maybe I can get some tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am bad at judging sizes of these river fish, but the farthest on the right seems to be right around 15.5-16 inches so what does that make that big girl on the left closest to the guy in the orange hat? 25 inches? Man her belly is heaping full! I can’t wait to get out there!

Nice family picture of a guy and his ailing father fishing together for the first time in over a year. funny thing though, that pic. was posted on facebook. I wonder how and why it ended up here.
