Fish were goin again this afternoon!! Pulled into a spot and started pitching ringworms. Wasn’t long N, WACK! First fish of the night was 28.5″ 10lbs 4 oz!!! At 4:15 pm! A boat came off the landing and had also pulled in just below me and started dragging, I was alone and had to run up river to my buddy to weigh/photo the fish as my scale battery was dead (: Needless to say the boat which was below me held up where I boated the fish. No problem, moved on…. Started dragging, same presentation described in the last post. Pitch spot on spots/concentrated fish and drag scattered fish. Found two pods of males bout 15″ to 17″ in diff spot each. Went to a 4th area and picked up a 23.5″ and more eaters. Did not keep any fish today, but had a couple hours all by myself in the boat, sure was nice out!!! this is the 5th trip in a row with at least 1 fish over 8 lbs. 4 of which included a fish over 9. Another boat today had a big girl today also, he said she was just over 9 pounds!!!!!!!!!! There were only 4 boats out this evening, yet there have been plenty of big fish caught lately. The bite did slow off at dark. wish I had been out all day today…. Ended up with 11 or 12? idk for sure, didnt keep any. All I know is there was plenty of action. Sorry bout the stringer posts. I will not do that again. Good fishing everyone!

Hmmm? I would like to share a small tip. Something we’ve noticed is most fishermen are using firecracker/char nearly all the time? During hi sun like today, natural colors have been significantly better. Dominant colors have changed day to day but consistently natural colors during bright parts of the day and bright colors during low light! just food for thought…….
