Was out today and had to work for the fish. It was a hard day. My buddy and I went down and he didnt catch a fish. I ended up boating 6 eyes that were all eaters. My buddy that owns the bait store in Alma caught a pig today. It had 18 1/2 inches of girth. Just a pig! Started today at 7 and fished till 2. 1/4 oz jigs in 12-16 fow with a red ringworm with a chartruese tail worked the best! Heres a couple pics. The Northern was the first fish of the day. She was fat! And the pic of my buddy in my boat is from Sunday down there and she was almost 27 inches and a little over 8 lbs. She was nice!

It was a female and I do with all 20 plus inch eyes. She was just over 19. Believe me I do CPR with bigger eyes. We caught 4 females that were all 20 1/2-24 a week ago and they all went back. I do, do CPR.
