finally got out below the dam with my buddy and employer Jeremy. usually one of us is working while the other is fishing. We started out the morning with Hutches 1/8 glitter jigs and got bit within the first 10 minutes. On our first pass we got 5 hits and boated 3 good fish including a 24″ Once the sun got high in the sky we had to switch locations and jigs. on the 2nd run thru I tied into one that wanted to stay on the bottom. after we convinced it to come to the boat we put it on the scale and found it was pushing 9lbs. We stayed out for about 4 hrs and boated abound 25 fish including 12 males that we kept for the table. all in all a pretty good day of fishing. Looks like it’s shaping up to be a good year on the river
