I got to spend some time on the water today with a couple good friends and all I can say is WOW did we put the smack down … We got our limit of 18 eaters and returned a dozen or so to the water to continue swimming. I will not post specifics but I will tell you that the fish are eating almost anything that you throw at them… Couldnt have been a better day except for the ice berg that I hit that ripped my transducer off and the log that I hit on the way back down the back channel so watch out and keep your eyes open…There was a lot of ice coming down the river today… Be safe and careful out there and remember no fish is worth a human life. Hope to see you on the water

    That is specific enough! LOL!

By looking at those fish, I can see…

    You were on P-4
Launched out of the back channel.
fishing 2 maybe 2.5 blocks South of the dam.
On the WI side…defiantly WI fish.
Deepest fish caught was in 18 fow, but most were caught shallower.
All except for one or two were caught on BfishN Tackles
    Stuwart Pro Blue Ringworms.
I’m stumped on the two fish in the lower right hand corner.
Ringworms, but was it Firecracker with the chartreuse tail?

    Am I warm Joe?

    Nice mess either way!

Nice pile of fish! I didn’t expect that many people to be out on a Wednesday afternoon but it is p4. I also ripped my transducer off the back but luckily I have a spare wired in ready to go. Keep catching and be safe.

An odd question, but did those fish smell bad when you cleaned them? I was out there a few days ago and man the saugers reeked once I started to fillet them. I guess it’s due to the shad diet as they are such an oily baitfish. I’m going to try some tonight and see how they taste.
