    The frontnac bite is still good for numbers.. Got out on the water around 9am this morning and managed to ice some great eaters..think I missed the legendary morning bite and was greated to look-e-loos.. They would race from the bottom then stop in there tracks and turn up there nose it seemed.. I downsized to this lure that “crappie tom” gave me and the saugs loved it.. Tom over at “HOF” has these plastics..me pesonally I like,em. Beware of the severe cracks that I ran across..at least 3 inches of standing water just shy of the ice wedge…south of it so to speak..here are some pics of the bad spots.. If your heading out just be smart…

    Nice! Those plastics of CT’s are very cool. I’m leery of that water on the ice.
