We ventured down to P4 today and managed 10 eaters and 2 hogs. I brought 2 first timers down to have some fun and man did we lay the smack down. I caught my new PB at 29 inches and fat as hell After a brief photo shoot I turned her loose to complete her job for the spring One of the guys that I brought caught his PB and biggest fish of his life at 29.5 inches which was also released. The other guy managed to catch a couple and had a blast. Thanks to all that have helped me with tips and tactics that aided in these fantastic outings. There is no family like the IDO family which Im glad to say that I am a part of.

    It’s amazing isn’t it Joe!

Man, I sure wish I knew about this fishery when I was growing up in the middle of the state.

The lakes in the Hutchinson area can put out some fish, but sure can’t be as consistent as the ol’ river!

Good job taking some newbies along!

Great pictures Joe but isn’t it time for a name change???? I will chip in the Fishbucks to change your name to something manly Like Walleye Joe You know you have the bug now and those green carp will never be the same as a fish that challenges you to think to catch them. Just saying Way to go WalleyeJoe

It does have a ring to it—doesn’t it Russ I think we are in for a very good Spring if Mother Nature cuts us any breaks at all. WalleyeJoe is sure getting them dialed in thats for sure

BK, I grew up in the French Lake area and fished Hutch quite a bit over the years. You gotta admit the fish don’t glow and they taste better though

Those are some great looking fish! Good Job!

Nice job Joe I’m sure the tips I gave you helped out on those big fish I know Jessie gave you the advice on those eaters as that is all he gets!

You do know you could have kept 18 fish that is your limit!
    Just sayin!

    That does explain a lot.

Glad I coached you on what to say Millerman and gave up on telling people about those one eyes. Good job.

Joe, before we derail this whole thread, when are you coming back down?
