Pool 5 Walleyes 2/4 @ 2/5

    What a blast just to get out on the open water in pool 5 this time of year. I’d like to start with thanking Jeremy and the guys that helped open up the city boat landing in Alma and Schreiner’s Sport Shop in Alma. Draggin jigs was the thing to do this weekend the bite was good on Saturday and slow on Sunday. I fished Saturday by myself so that’s why the fish is on the floor. The fish in the picture is 28 1/4″ long piggy. What a BONUS FISH for this time of year.

    Awesome fish.

    I was out Saturday by myself too and had a decent day with a few released walleye and four 15-18″ saugers for the box. All plastics and slow presentation was the way to go.
