Fishing the confluence today

I thought I’d let everyone know that I was there today with Drewsdad and after breaking up some ice at the end of the ramp, the Hidden Falls access is open and usable. I got down to the confuence and found it iced in with very thin ice. After making 2 circular passes through the ice I was able to clear the main channel out. Now for the bad news, we didn’t catch a fish and didn’t mark many either. But it’s ready to go when they get there.

Even with no fish, sitting in the boat with DD is a hoot!

You’re right Brian. It was nice getting out up there for a change. What’s amazing is there was only about three weeks we weren’t on the river this winter.

Thanks Gary for getting me out. It was a beautiful day with just about no wind and warm temps. Hey Brian! If you think I am a hoot in a boat you should see me in a duckblind. My favorite gag is to yell “DUCK” and then fire a blast just over the other guys head. Hilarious!

I would never be around you with a long gun DD.

At your height, keeping the barrel pointed at the ground would put that muzzle right in the area of the family jewels…and we’ve already seen enough videos of that joke.
