Sauger

A friend and I hit the river today. We set up in about twenty feet of water. The fish seemed to like jigging raps and spoons tipped with minnow head. As the morning progressed we got fish on bobber rigs. Remember folks do not be afraid to avoid the crowds!

Was out there this morning also. Limit in 2 hours. All the same size as the ones your holding. Going out again early in the morn. But that will be it for awhile with the warm weather. With only 8″ average ice it isn’t worth the risk.
