The water has crested and the launch is still in good condition.The reports of fish being caught are getting better.This past weekend I heard of 3 over 10 lbs and a few around the 6 lb range.Water temp at the dam is 43.Get ready the good run is still to come.

What have they been catchin’ the fish on up there? I may try to come up there and fish in your neck of the woods on Friday. I have seen your bar’s website and was wondering if you guys had a dock there? We were thinking of stopping by for breakfast or supper.

I am not sure if Len is around. The Falling rock does not have a dock but they are located just across Hwy 35 from the Gordon’s Bay (the launch closest to the dam). They have excellent food there and also at the float right on the water. They have been getting a few here and there mainly on ring worms, and other plastics. I highly suggest stinger hooks for this time of year. Beware the water is up and flowing quite fast. You may have a hard time if you don’t have a good trolling motor. You might want to get off the main channel near the dam to find resting fish. The hot depth has been from 8 to 15 feet. Might see you there.
