Took a guy from fishing for life out this afternoon and within the first couple minutes he put a 16″ in the box and then lots of short but I told him when the sun drops the decent ones will go on a tear and he wasn’t disappointed as the drag bite went wild again and we easily boxed our limits with some decent ones to toss back! Great time once again and spent most of the time without a jacket hard to believe its January, blue oster and firecracker worked the best, 1/4 blue jig

1/4 ounce purple and black jig and char/pepper paddle tails did the trick for me. I believe I seen you up there that day Dan. I was in the white and blue Smokercraft. Should have stayed for the late dragging bite, it can be awesome up there this time of year.

Yes my friend that was me, except for the jig head color thats was pretty close to what we were using! 6 of the last 9 days I’ve been on open water but it looks like saturday will be the next time on open water for me, got to earn some fishing money,
