Still sick about this, I have to try-lost avid sedona combo late november on p4 while dragging jigs. I tried to snag it with handline gear for about an hour that day with no luck. Popular area, someone will catch it eventually. 
first rod I have ever lost- was my favorite- reward if caught-
if you know where its at get an old metal stringer
put a good length of mason line on it open all the
hooks an drop it over worked for the kids fishing bow

I know how it felt….this past summer me too lost a avid with a stradic..just bought the stradic too…up by devils lake …my cuz didn’t close the back of the truck and I suffer the rod combo and my backpack full of cranks….lost well over $500 in gears ….I didn’t want to fish anymore that day…
