Nice TOAD and I’m left wondering if you have a permanent bend in your bait fish rod now?

Seems like there’s more flats being snagged this year. I’m wondering if it’s the warmer or lower water that could be causing this. Hmmm, maybe both!

Not knowing much about the fish I was advised that I should have put my hand in the mouth of the fish and supported the belly. I want to say that I appreciate the shared knowledge and thought I could turn this in to a learning post as well. Next time I will just cut the lineā€¦

A 14ft fishing boat could handle a net to boat your cat easily.

I didn’t understand the question. I use a Beckman 25×42 net in my 17′ Lund.

Works good on flats up to 59 pounds for sure.
