Mike, Joel and Jon J. hit the pool 2 community hole to jig up some walleye/sauger. Vertical jigging with meat and plastics both took fish yesterday. Nothing big but the bite was steady enough to keep us interested. The 494 ramp is in great shape. River has very little ice to dodge and can’t beat this weather! Headed out the door right now for round 2!

That was great! I wish I could have been there as the “master blader”
Was that a still camera video or cam corder? It was very good.
I’ve only been up there at night but Pool 2 is awesome.

Looks like fun. I’m wishing I wouldn’t have stored the boat now. Who would have thunk you could fish out of the boat up here still!

Pool 2 water doesn’t get much more clear than that! Nice fish too guys, thanks for sharing.

Nice looking Alumicraft in the background

It sure was nice to be out in a boat on a warm day in January. Thanks Gary R. for the front seat.

The bite was decent again today. Weather was even better yet. Think we caught around 15 sauger/walleyes again today. Had a few catfish mixed in. Would of never guessed we would still be out in boats on pool 2 in January. Hope to get out one more time before the colder temps set in again.

Thanks, Tom! All of my video is shot with a
Kodak PlaySport. Cheap, waterproof pocket cam that shoots decent video.

Thanks for the info and video Jon. I’m looking for a video camera for the boat. I’ll have to look at those.

    Nice fish too.

That’s a good bundle price Mike…. there are some things I like on the Newer PlaySport and some things I would hate to lose on the older version that JJ and I have on our camera’s!

Great vid Jon. YAAAAA! Rootski and I made it in there, and I was even catching a fish, thanks. It was slower today.
