Open ramps? 5a?

Anyone know if a guy can still put in at the high water ramp at Bass Camp or down to Trempealeau? I would love to get to pool 4 but I might have more windshield time than time in the water. I heard there were boats on pool 6 today but that would be my last choice if I have one.

Heard parts of the main channel on 5a were froze over preventing a launch in Fountain City getting me to the dam area.

Just have a window of time tomorrow morning and early afternoon to get out and would prefer not to sit on a bucket.

You can PM me too if your willing to share.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Thanks. I was under the impression these numbers were not answered when the shop/camping was closed. I’ll give it a try. Just looking for current info I saw this ramp was open last Tuesday as I drove past.

Thanks! I’ll be on my way in about an hour to find out for sure. It’s only t 20 here so I hope things did not freeze up too much.

Bass Camp was locked up good at 7:30 this morning about 40 yards of ice in the bay kept me from putting in. Might have been able to put in at Trempealeau but opted to put in on pool 6 and had a decent day. Lots of saugers, a few walleye, and one sturgeon. Bout 15-20 boats around. We caught most of our fish on plastics, shortened ringworms and paddle tails twin chart tails. Fish seemed scattered and most everyone was seeing some action from the 40+ depths to the 18-21′ range.
