Wow the drag bite was crazy again this morning till a fellow boater anchored right in my path not just lowered the anchor but tossed it in and I could no longer drag the area, I should of left but I hung out awhile hoping to pick up a couple more good ones but no such luck everything was under 14. highlite of the morning got a really nice double that put two 17s in the box, all and all not a bad 2.5 hours of fishing, going to have a great supper again tonight!

Seems like you’re taking a lot of saugers out of the river lately. Do you release saugers over a certain size?

release anything over 18″ I like 14 to 16″ ones the best, if I’m out getting fish just for my family to eat, I toss back anything over 16″ just think 14 to 16″ taste better. The ones caught today are supper for my house church.

I think 18″ is a good cut off, Dan. Nice job.
