I was wondering if anyone can answer this question. what has happened to al and ron linder not being with the infisherman anymore, they where the founders of that show and magazine. The other day infisherman contacted me to see if i would renew there mag. I asked if i could ask them a question first. I then asked them why was al and ron linder not with them anymore. The lady on the phone then told me she could not comment on that subject. I told her then if she could not tell me what was going on i would not then renew my subscription. Then hung up the phone. Sound like to me they was a takeover by someone. If anyone knows what is going on please let me know.

Al and Ron sold In-Fisherman to Primedia which is a big multi magazine owners company. They started a new show called Linders Angling Edge. James Linder and Dan Sura are working with them also. And welcome to the website.
    Thanks, Bill

Al Linder has done great things for the fishing industry and is truely a legend. I fell in love with Lund boats through his fishing shows and love the shows. I taped lots of his shows in the past and they kept me sane during a 4 month flat on the back period back in 1994 when I had a back injury. Al has more enthusiasm for fishing than anyone I have ever met. His new show is as high quality as the In-Fisherman shows are. Fishing has enjoyed great growth because of his dedication and sharing of information about catching fish.
    Thanks, Bill

You can sure tell the profit motive is hard at work within the In-Fisherman world now more than ever. I think the quality has suffered as the commercialism has worked its way in. Too bad for such a good source of information.
