With the warmer temps on Saturday I decided to head out for a late afternoon and evening bite on pool 4. We talked to a few people coming off the water and most said it was pretty slow fishing. We hit a few spots with no luck pitching. At 4:30 I said lets try dragging. As we started we didn’t go 50 feet and it was game on. We fished until 9:30pm until the rain forced us off. We caught over 30 fish and 90 percent of those were eyes from 16-19 inches with a few larger ones. Best depths were 10 feet and under using small plastics with a paddle tail. It was a great nite for the end on December.

Do you think your success was because of you changed your presentation,or was it just a coincidence that you started catching fish at 4:30 till 9:30. Maybe the fish were just starting to feed and becoming more active because of the time of day ? Just a thought to consider .

thanks for the report. After seeing bottom while dragging over 6 feet of water, it was easy for me to make the decision that the next time I am back to pool 4 it is going to be dark and with little wind
