Went out with my son Drew this morning to check on the ramps:

Hidden Falls has a little ice but I think it is do-able.
Fort Snelling looks like to much ice.
    Lillydale is a nope.
494 is a go with one boat out at 8:40 this morning.
Lions Levee is a go with 3 boats out this morning at 8:30.

Fort Snelling is a cool place to take a drive and look at the almost tame deer and turkey.

Nice report and pic.. That pic reminds me about a doe I hand fed a few years back shorefishing in inver grove heights. She was skiddish but finally took the grass I was slowly waving in her face. Any semi-fast movements she would back off ten feet, and slowly start grazing again.

Nice picture Joel. Should be down to 494 sometime this afternoon.

Almost tame….In Two Harbors at the breakwater parking area there are deer that think they own the place. I have fed them apples out of my hand while sitting in the van and one morning in the spring I saw a woman in her front yard pushing, not swatting, pushing a deer away from her tulips with broom. We had some light snow last night and this morning I see deer tracks along the fence in our back yard on the park side. They are fun to see but they can be a nuisance too.
