Anything going on south of pepin?

    I am new to pool 4. Is it a waste of time to fish the wing dams south of pepin? Would I do better putting in on the north end and work up to the dam? Meat or no meat? Please advise. Thanks Kurt

    in general, the fish are working to the dam at red wing. but, this year the schedule is ‘behind’.

    so i think you’ll find fish. we found saugers in lake city Monday.

    Not all fish head up river, it is just easier because the space and baitfish are more confined. Lake can be great less pressure on the fish.
