I have been stopping at a shore fishing spot on Pool 2 several times in the last couple of weeks. And I had a great big fat skunk going. I even saw people catch walleyes and I still could not connect, until just after dark last night when I popped a fish that was a minimum of 28″ and possibly even a 30″ No camera. No tape measure. One witness who I don’t really know that well. I don’t care. I connected on my best fish of the year and I broke the curse. I also landed it bare handed because I had no net.

Way to go. Sometimes those fish are the real treasures a guy has on mental file.

Thanks guys! I was really starting to think I didn’t know what the heck I was doing. And Jason you would be correct on that guess.

I shattered the curse this afternoon on the way home from work. The one pictured is a approximately a 27 incher. And I also got one a little smaller, a couple of crappies (one went about 12″) and a nice sauger. I also took a pic of Bobby and the nice one he got.
