pools 9&10 weeds

    anyone have a grass report for lynxville or genoa areas. have some time off this week and want to head to the river but dont want to waste a trip if its virtually unfishable.

    I have not been there for a few weeks and it wasn’t bad then. Have they had some hard frost up above? If so then I would say it would be a mess.

    Pool 8 was awful yesterday, so I can only imagine that 9 and 10 are getting hit hard today. The upper end of 7 was clear yesterday though, so hopefully it’s short lived.

    I drove by the river from Lynxville north and the weeds looked bad. Hope this helps. I was on the river at New Albin and had little or no weed problem.

    The weeds are AWFUL !!!

    I was out yesterday for the afternoon… the only thing you can do is v-jig… this limits the presentation so much… I ended up with one sheepie and two small saugers..

    I do not like fishing my pool

    I was on pool 9 saturday and weeds were bad. Some to most places were unfishable.

    I’m needing 1 more fix to get up to Lynxville to fish pool 10 before putting the boat away but don’t want to waste a 2 hour road trip if the weeds stay bad sooooooo can some of you keep me posted and up to date as to how the weeds are doing as the week progresses.

    As alway you guys are appriciated
