Fished for a couple hours Wed up on the Black River and later down behind the power plant. Not much to talk about in terms of catching fish. Marked alot of fish and had a few bites but I think the sheephead were playing with my ringworm. Between the rough fish and keeping my son untangled it was tough to establish a good pattern. The weather was nice and hopefully the fishing will pick up. Has anyone been catching fish up at the dam at Drebach?? Looks to be plenty of boats out there.

I fished the float last weekend by the dresbach damn and i could see a few boats were getting bites and getting some fish. Nothing too huge saw maybe a 22 inch eye caught but mostly everything was small they were tossing mostly everything back. There was 3 boats out till 3 in the morning so they much have had to be catching something you would hope. I might be down on the float again this weekend. Good luck

Spent Friday all over the pool. Started out behind the power plant and caught a couple small walleyes drifting a spinner rig. Went up to the dam with little luck. Water is high and moving FAST, really had to work the trolling motor. My best spot turned out to be a little shelf almost right under the Clinton Street bridge. Caught another small walleye and a bunch of smallies. What a great day to fish, not many guys out and great weather. Oh to be retired; only twenty some years to go. Maybe my wife could a get a second job.
