    I don’t we were on pool 2 today up at the Ford Dam down to the 35E bridge and the water is still 8 to 10 feet higher than normal and it still sucks……

    As of this morning, water at the 494 boat ramp was right at the top of the concrete slabs. The river is dropping fast – almost 0.4ft/day in South St. Paul. We’ll still have “higher” flows through fall, but at least the boat ramps should be in better shape.

    Oh… and for 494 ramp specifically, that concrete median should become less of an issue. Watched a guy literally back his trailer right down the middle this morning, straddling the concrete with both tires Bottomed the trailer out, but looked like he escaped with no damage.

    Maybe we will get to fish this winter. Higher water and mild temps might keep some landings open We really got into some nice winter fishing a few years ago.

    Managed A Couple Eyes In 7 Feet Of Water With A 1/2 Ounce Jig And Minnow Just North Of The 2nd Rope Swing By The Mouth Of The Little Channel On The West Side. Water Levels Have Come Down Alot Since The Last Time I Was Out. Finally
