Well Sun. was one to remember. T-man is off at camp Fri. , but it still did not take much convincing from Drew that we should try the river last Sunday. You remember , Sun. the one with all that stormy weather , Yep we did the ole’ it is gonna miss us. Wrong! we got hammered anchored up on a wingdam close to shore with high trees thinking lightning would like timber better than us. Strike 2 against us was that someone forgot the net .Well it did quit raining And we had caught some smaller fish when the river givith up to us a working landing net well we continued most of the day fishing wingdams having ok luck . Well Drew decided we need to do some exploring so out came the trolling rods. First spot yielded less then desirable results, so it was off to one of Drew’s feast or famine runs. Well we got the Feast in a about an hour at least 10 walleyes where caught including 2 doubles. No monsters but all quality 17 to 22 inch fish. Well we threw the bigger ones back and kept 10 to eat

yeah we needed it! it looked like garbage when Andy pulled it up but after a good scrub down it was in pretty darn good shape!! worked great, though we did land two decent fish with out it……

P.S. waiting that storm out was quite the RUSH!! all i can say is wow i did not know it could rain like that lol i will be checking radar and future cast a little more carefully in the future

Thanks for the great day on the water Andy sure is fun fishing with you your welcoem in my boat anytime! even though you sat lower than me in the lightning storm so i would get hit first
