The boy is sitting in the chair with puffy cheeks and bloody drool after getting his wisdom teeth pulled this morning. But we got out on Pepin yesterday about 6;30 am and fished till noon. Pulling cranks only. Had a couple short fish and some sheepies but got half a dozen in the 17-20″ range and 4 in the mid 20’s. The boy beat me with a nice fish about 6#. Kept a couple eaters for the pan. Jointed #5’s in blue and orange were the ticket. Speeds in the 2.5 range. Worked the MN shore from Methodist to the can line almost and also the big flats off Rush river. A little sunburn today but a great day with my son.
