Well, the water has come down but will be coming back up.

Don’t ever assume yesterday’s presentation, color, bait, location or depth will be the same today. Nicole and I were out for more of a casual day today but it was still fun to get out and catch some smaller Walleye and SM Bass.

Lots of dink Walleye but man do they have some nice color.

My prize catch for the day.

Even the dogs couldn’t take the heat and needed a drink.

Heck yeah, knock those zebra mussels off, some oil and new line. I’ll have a stellar Zebco 202 combo.

We did pretty good, big fish being 21. Did not get to fish very long due to getting pushed off the water by the storm. All our fish came from 2-4fow dragging jigs with leeches being the ticket.

the live bait bite after the storm yesterday was pretty well spectacular my buddy has all the pics on his camera but for 3 hours of fishing we put three over 26″ in the boat along with 8 or 10 from 18″ to 21″ all from one area we “stumbled” upon. the lake had rain all evening the river was nice and calm

My DAD and I did ok on Sat. also. We caught these in front of the West Wind trailor court. We was in 8-12 fow using short shank fire ball 3/8 oz lead heads tipped with leeches and nite crawlers. The bite was pretty good most of the day till the storm came up. I was a perfect fathers day gift to my dad. Thanks DAD.
