It shouldnt come up that easy from that rain. Must be cause of the missouri river flooding and everything with the damns??

NOAA is predicting another rise of 2′. Fished up around 494 tonight and didn’t do as well as liked…but caught a few eyes.

We hit from the airport to spring lake and it was slow for us to. Just a fish here and there. Jake did stick one nice one this evening.

Crossin Eye’s and I got out Sat during the rain. Had the water to ourselves. We targeted bass which were not cooperating much. Later in the day we switched to walters and only got a few but 2 were hogs.

Hit some rocks around a bridge piling…dumba$$ move on my part. Heard some other reports of guys getting a good soaking on saturday. Got out last night and found a good crawler bite up on Pool -1. Those ones are going in my belly later.

Nice job, Jason. Pool 1 has fish, too! Where’d you launch?

I meant Pool Negative One…or above the metro.

I’ve been spending some time up on the crow, rum, and upper miss with some good success lately. Same basic approach on a smaller river has been working good and being able to bring home a few is kinda nice for a change.

Saturday morning was kinda slow for me. Think I managed about a half dozen by the time the rain came in at noon. Not much for size. Picked mine up pitching crawlers on wingdams and trolling main channel rocks.

Looks like the river will be coming up again this week. Should know more by morning but 2″ of rain predicted over a large area we should see some changes in the river.

Wow. NOAA is forecasting the river up 3′ in the next week. Not sure if that takes account of the rain that is still on its way.

They’re not even showing a peak on the 1 week forecast!

Whew!!! I was afraid I was going to have to start fishing wingdams again this summer.
