Any eye’s in Alma

I hope to get to Alma this weekend. Fished Alma a lot of the last few years but haven’t hit it yet this year. Anyone got the word on any fish?

We spent Sunday and Monday there.

The pike bite is on during the day, mostly small pike.

We saw some small walleye’s coming, but only a few. It was hard to keep the sheep head off our poles.

We also got into a nice perch bite during the day along the shoreline.

There is fishing to be had there, just don’t know if I would call it walleye fishing just yet.

if i were u i’d try some of the backwater spots or the spots coming out of the backwaters. the water’s still hi and some of the fish are slow coming out of the backwaters. we were catching some eyes in the backwaters this week on p4 so i wouldn’t rule that out….
