Me and a buddy fished pool 2 today, we fished some backwater and managed some eyes. Caught all are fish on jigs and meat, most fish were in that 20-24in class with the biggest fish of the day being 28. We were finding water temps from 59-62.

Sounds like a great trip. Growing up pool 2 was a mile from my house. I wish I took advantage of it more while I was there.

The warm weather yesterday must have brought the temps up a fair amount – last weekend the temps in the backwater we fisher were 54-57
Good to hear the fish are biting. We found a few last friday but had to work for them. Looking forward to getting back down there for opening morning.
