i went bass fishing……. a buddy of mine Mike is pre fishing for i believe the St. Judes bass tourni in wabasha this weekend, and he asked me to join him today. i was a little reluctant to do so seeing i have not purposely fished for bass since i got my first boat…… well i joined him anyway and you wont believe what he caught today a very nice post spawn walleye in a spot i would not bet a daller that there would be a walleye there. I fish walleye shallow all the time and i fish them in the back waters and in trees but this fish came from a spot that is further and deeper than even i would guess a walleye would travel. he caught it on a black salamander. here is the pic
