Anybody been to Genoa lately – wondering about the conditions and the bite? Thanks in advance!
Was at genoa sat. Wind was a pain, very strong from south east. Fishing was slow, but many boats were catching small saugers and a few keeper eyes, I would guess averaging 16 inches. 20-23 feet seemed to be the ticket. Did ok, pitching ringies, but it was slow!
Thanks for the reply Bob. We were there on Monday and had a slow day as well. Some small sauger and 3 keeper ‘eyes. Things should be picking up soon – good luck!

Spent 3 hours late yesterday, caught 12, kept 6 eaters, 3 w alleyes and 3 saugers, all between 16 and 18 inches. Seemed like they had a preference for a electric blue ringie, 18-20 ft. Spent all the time up by the dam
