Pool 4 brief report

Picked up the boat from Bay City Hardware/Marine at 5pm from having a little maintenance done and decided to put the boat in and run the engine a bit. Launched at Baypoint park and quickly found a ton of 12-16″ white bass willing to slam paddletails and moxies. While that was fun, it was not what I was looking for. I fished some 12-20′ current seams and some flooded timber and still only found white bass. I moved to a current seam moving water out of a flooded area and a nice 5-10′ flat that produced the only walleye of the night, a nice 6# fish. I never made it up to the dam and just fished current seam areas. The rain kept coming and the wind picked up and I decided the long drive home was overdue. It was nice to be back on the water.

I thought this report was a survey of boxers or briefs by the pool 4 fisherman.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye, but isn’t it fun when those whiteys start slamming the bait.

Do many folks fry up the white bass? I have only done it a time or two, but wondered if it is a common thing or not.

I caught a pair of boxers once. Big B can verify.
