Well made it out for a few hours this evening. The eyes weren’t biting as fast as I thought they would be with a front coming in and all. Did manage to land 3 walleye’s and a shovelnose sturgeon. The coyotes really started howling and only seemed to be a few hundred yard away. They sure are eerie sounding.May get out early tomorrow morning either back on the Chippewa or might give the Red Ceder a try. I will post what I find happening tomorrow. Steve Oh yea 1/8 oz jig and large fathead caught all fish tonight.

I was out last Monday and started to catch walleyes in 20 ft until I hooked into a 45″ sturgeon, what a blast but after that the walleyes shut down. Guys have been catching walleyes after dark with jigs or just a couple sinkers and a fathead around the edges of holes from shore at there favorite hole

Well made it out early am to try the Red Ceder. Not much happening where I was. All I did was decorate the bottom of the river with some jigs and plastics. I’ll be out again soon and will post some temperature readings for the Red Ceder and the Chippewa. I hope this cooler weather doesn’t last long. Steve
