Walleye, Pike, Smallmouth, and Rainbow Trout.

Hope everyone had a good weekend outdoors! The team and I decided to spend one of our weekend days at Rifle Gap State Park over here in Western Colorado.

If you’re unaware of Rifle Gap Reservoir, it is a great place to get into a wide variety of species…There are Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, German Brown Trout, Yellow Perch, Green Sunfish, and Bluegill! With Fall fishing being here, it’s a great time to target most of the fish in the lake! Not to mention the reservoir is incredibly low this year (like many across Colorado) so you can get to parts that aren’t normally accessible!

We had a great time up there fishing before a giant windstorm came through…Landed 4 species, ALL fish caught on the Ned Rig! Very deadly rig to use in the fall for a lot of species here in Colorado and I can imagine all over! Hope you guys enjoy!😃🎣
