Walleye movements and timing?

2 questions guys, love to hear your feedback.

I’m heading up to Alexandria area October 4-6 to fish walleyes.

For those of you that do a lot of walleye fishing in the fall, at what water temps do you usually start rigging big baits out on main lake breaks to deep water?

Also with the colder temps now here and getting really cold soon, how fast do you see the walleyes adjusting to the water temp dropping? Overnight movements type of deal or takes multiple days for them to slide out deeper off the breaks as the weeds die?

There’s some good bites going on with chubs already. The biggest fish I’ve seen caught by friends in the area the past week though have been on frogs.

Find your nearest lowlands, fish your deepwater pinch points adjacent to them during the day, then troll stickbaits at night with your rodtip literally touching the fuc$@# shore.

Love pulling big ol amphibious femurs out of stomaches in the fall.
