I am going to be making a trip to Lake Francis in Montana. It is the closest walleye fishery to me with good ice. Has anyone fished this lake before or can look at a depth map with reccomendations. I have navionics and have looked and I have a couple ideas in mind. This lake has walleye, perch, and ling. The red mark is the launch site.

Is that in the central or western management district? I heard they’re considered invasive in the western district.

This is in the central district. And yes they consider them that in a way in the western. They do not have it in writing western district just has a huge amount of the tourist with a majority of the trout fishing in the state. It’s a battle we deal with all the time with walleyes unlimited.

Couple of places I would start. Looking at a map in Minnesota.
