Walleye Ice Rod Reel

    I just purchased a 38inch medium walleye rod. I’m looking at a reel to pair with this new rod. Anybody have any suggestions? Looking for something between that 30-50 dollar price range. Thanks

    I’ve enjoyed my time with the Ceymar 10 with the updated drag washer.

    Yes, check out Okuma Reels. If you go to their direct website, around this time of the year, they generally have end of year clearance models. Really great deal but selections will be limited.

    Okuma look at the Baitrunner many uses for it, summer and winter. DK.

    Okuma C20 is my recommendation. With a drag washer it is tough to beat.

    Any info on this drag washer? Are folks just replacing what comes in the reel with a carbon washer or something?

    Replacement to the felt washer that comes stock. Helps with changing temps and moisture.
